Tapping Chuck Series

SOFTOOL tapping chuck series is part of the general tool holder range and is designed for holding taps in different thread standards and tapping applications. The range includes the GT overload-protection tap collet system, GT12, GT24 and GT42 series, the TER-B rigid tension-and-compression taper holder, and ERG rigid tap collets.
GT tap collets are available in ISO and INCH/JIS options. Models can be selected according to the tap shank diameter, tap square size, thread size, machine type and specific tapping requirements. The overload-protection system allows the corresponding torque to be selected according to the workpiece material and tapping conditions, helping reduce the effects of abnormal overload on the tap and workpiece.
For applications requiring rigid tapping or axial compensation, the series also includes TER-B tension-and-compression holders and ERG rigid tap collets for different tap sizes and machine configurations.
